As a marketing firm, we understand the importance of a strong brand identity. It is not just a logo or a catchy tagline, but the very essence of a company, representing its values, vision and purpose. We have helped numerous clients undergo this process, and as we started to celebrate our 15th anniversary, we realized it was time for us evaluate our own story to ensure that we were truly reflecting who we are, to our current clients, potential clients and greater community.

It was a thoughtful and careful process for us; we didn’t want to just splash some new colors and pick chic fonts. Our team worked tirelessly to capture the spirit and energy of Red Shoes and translate that essence into a visual identity that better represents the company’s personality, approach and capabilities.

A new mission

We began as a group, delving deep into our identity, values and aspirations. The process really was a labor of love that involved countless hours of brainstorming, discussions and revisions until we found the few perfect words to encapsulate our essence – a new mission statement that supports the work we’ve done and guides us for the future: To Grow and Protect Brands.

These words captured our ongoing commitment and pledge to our clients to uphold their trust as we continually strive for excellence.

More than just a facelift

Once we had defined our mission it was time to adopt a new look. We carefully selected every element of our new visual identity – from the bold color palette and fonts to the images and copy. We wanted to make sure that our look reflected not only our mission but our culture and identity as a group of hard-working marketing professionals.

Digging deep into who we are we’ve jazzed up our look with a modern twist in all the places – our website, social channels and marketing collateral. We picked bold, stylized fonts that scream ‘we mean business’, a color palette that’s as vibrant as our team and a brand voice that reflects what we feel in our heart. We invested in photography too, and wow do the new photos capture our team perfectly (Shoutout to Graham Images LLC); there’s laughter, coffee-fueled brainstorming and the look of our hustle – the kind that gets things done. It’s an authentic snapshot of life at Red Shoes and a testament to the punchy and powerful culture we’re proud to call our own.
