APPLETON, Wis. (Sept. 29, 2021) – Red Shoes Inc., a Wisconsin-based strategic communication firm, has hired Katie Thao as an account coordinator and Gina Roberts as a marketing assistant.
In her role as account coordinator, Thao supports client teams through writing, editing, managing social media efforts and conducting research to strengthen marketing initiatives. She has more than five years of strategic social media experience and helps execute content calendars and social media content needs. Thao has a bachelor’s degree in history and psychology from University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.

In her role as marketing assistant, Roberts supports client teams in new business development, content creation and other administrative activities. Roberts also assists with numerous pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinics aimed at serving minoritized populations in the Fox Cities through her work with the Multicultural Communications Committee. She brings nearly two decades of customer service experience, seven years of social media experience and more than five years of experience in the marketing field to the Red Shoes team. Roberts has a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
